Salary and Benefits:

$85,000 per year, with competitive benefits package including immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits, 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, and PTO accrual beginning Day 1.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As an occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses, regain their independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with patients and families to establish and meet treatment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide education to patients, family, and staff on occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Less than 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
