Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the dining experience for our guests through your creativity and culinary expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading the culinary team to develop and curate exceptional menus that cater to diverse guest preferences and dietary needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Banquet Chef to design banquet menus tailored to specific events and themes.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food for various banquet events, ensuring the highest standards of quality and taste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in all food-related areas.
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and assist with product ordering and preparation lists for team members.
  • Work in tandem with the banquet manager and relevant staff to ensure timely food service in alignment with event schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas to uphold health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and order as necessary to minimize waste and prevent shortages.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a fine dining environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
  • Organized, clean, and capable of delegating tasks while demonstrating a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
