Job Summary

Ottobock, a world leader in technical orthopedics, is seeking an experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join our team at our Exton, PA clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality orthotics, prosthetics, and professional services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate prosthetic and orthotic devices to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide expert guidance and direction to technicians responsible for fabrication and fitting of orthoses and prostheses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of prosthetic and orthotic devices and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal fit, function, and medical efficacy.
  • Train and mentor technicians, residents, and other clinicians to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, therapists, and other referral sources to drive business growth and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, techniques, and industry developments to provide the best possible care for our patients.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and implement process improvements that promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Medicare and OSHA requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics or related field.
  • Certification by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
