Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including invasive and non-invasive ventilator management, airway management, and aerosol medication administration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and advanced oxygen therapy
  • Acquire and analyze blood gas samples
  • Perform pulmonary function testing and electrocardiogram acquisition and management
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response situations
  • Support neonatal resuscitation efforts at high-risk infant deliveries
  • Transport ventilator patients and provide respiratory-focused patient teaching
Requirements
  • 1 Year Clinical Experience in Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure (Required)
  • NC Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure (Required)
  • Basic Life Support certification (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (Required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (Required)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (Required)
Work Schedule

7P - 7A, with every third weekend and call requirements.
