- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, taking into account student objectives, capabilities, and preferences.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to foster functional autonomy and enhance overall quality of life.
- Provide hands-on therapy and guidance to students to enhance their motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and range of motion.
- Educate students, families, and caregivers on strategies and methods to optimize autonomy and incorporate therapy goals into daily routines.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Profound knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, coupled with an understanding of various physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions and their effects on daily functioning.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy interventions.
- Display empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the distinct needs and obstacles encountered by individuals undergoing occupational therapy services.
