Position Overview:
The role involves ensuring cleanliness and health standards are met for our client's facilities by performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Executing all cleaning responsibilities using ServiceMaster products, tools, and established procedures.
  • Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash disposal, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and dusting.
  • Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Securing and unlocking facilities, managing security systems as required.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach consistently (up to 100% of the time).
  • Must be capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Understanding of various cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
  • Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • We provide on-the-job training for individuals with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential.
  • Contribute positively to the work atmosphere with a friendly demeanor.
  • Be a dependable team player, punctual, and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Treat all colleagues and clients with respect and courtesy.
