Bus Monitor, Transportation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- • Ride the bus daily to ensure children are picked up from and delivered to home and the classroom in accordance with program policies and procedures. • Ensure that children are always accounted for and are correctly released to their parents or authorized guardians. • Maintain a safe, healthy, and orderly environment at all times. • Interact with parents in ways that will create a positive link between home and school, and support parents as the primary educators of their children.
Requirements:
- • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Must complete School Bus Monitor Training within 30 days of hire. • Must be able to successfully pass applicable background and Oregon Central Background Registry checks prior to new hire processing and beginning actual employment.
Estimated Salary Range: $16.95 - $18.65 per hour.
