Job Summary

The Welding Inspector will be responsible for making visual and measured inspections of products to ensure conformance with standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, ISO and API requirements, and will be able to interpret and apply these standards to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Perform visual and measured inspections of products to ensure conformance with standards
* Maintain quality and reliability by performing duties such as third-party fabrication inspection and reporting, and in-process verification
* Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)

Requirements

* 2 years of experience as a quality inspector
* High school graduate
* Familiarity with ISO and API requirements
* Beneficial to have CWI certification or to be eligible to become CWI certified

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a clean and safe working area. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods of time and to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
