Why Consider a Role as a Student Transportation Operator?
- Competitive starting wage ranging from $25 to $29 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Attractive sign-on bonus available.
- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits along with 401k Retirement Savings Plans (specific benefits may vary by location).
- No prior experience required; we provide thorough training.
- Paid training for obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Guaranteed minimum of 4 hours of work, with opportunities for additional hours through charter routes.
- Morning shifts typically from 5:55 AM to 8:30 AM and afternoon shifts from 1:45 PM to 5:55 PM, with variations based on assigned routes.
- Paid holidays included.
- Child ride-along program available.
- No evening or weekend shifts required.
About the Student Transportation Operator Role
- Become part of a dedicated team of drivers committed to ensuring the safe transport of students to and from educational institutions.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology to assist in navigating daily routes efficiently.
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain high safety standards.
- Support students by aiding in their boarding and exiting of the vehicle.
Qualifications for the Student Transportation Operator
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of three years.
- Must comply with DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
