About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Living Experience Coordinator to join our team at Truewood by Merill Charlotte Center. This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Support smooth community operations by providing exceptional customer service to residents and assisting community team members in achieving established standards.
  • Assist with activities such as social events, cultural programs, physical activities, educational workshops, spiritual events, and special interest groups, all designed to enhance resident engagement and well-being.
  • Provide care assistance to residents with daily living activities, including dressing, meals, laundry, and general care, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Serve as a concierge, fulfilling customer-driven requests for services typically found outside the community, from initial request receipt to coordination and delivery of the product or service.
  • Ensure residents receive meals efficiently in the dining room or through room service, maintaining cleanliness, customer service, and proper delivery standards established by Merrill Gardens.
  • Contribute to kitchen cleaning and storage tasks.
  • Maintain the upkeep of resident apartments and common areas, ensuring all spaces are clean, neat, sanitary, and safe for residents, guests, and team members.
  • Assist in the physical upkeep and maintenance of building(s) and surrounding property, adhering to safety and fire regulations and applicable codes.
  • Provide a welcoming experience at the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and maintaining the front office area's organization and appearance.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma is required; a college degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of one to two years of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
  • Previous senior living experience is desired.
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years old.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
