Job Summary

Merry Maids is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper Maid to join our team. As a Housekeeper Maid, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients, ensuring their homes are clean, safe, and healthy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and efficient cleaning services to residential clients, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Use Merry Maids' proprietary cleaning products and procedures to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed to clean hard-to-reach areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops, safely and effectively.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the office and vehicles.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss client feedback, share best practices, and receive training and support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • Ability to differentiate between variously colored cleaning products by identifying the color or product name.
  • Ability to define specific uses of cleaning products.
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions indicated on customized service reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds of equipment in and out of an average of 4 homes a day.
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and current liability insurance on automobile.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cleaning or customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
