Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled VFR Helicopter Pilot to join our team of medical experts. As a VFR Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with our team to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical experts to transport patients to and from medical facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and Med-Trans requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including MTC and regulatory compliance
- Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to ensure smooth operations
- Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
