Patient Registrar

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team at William Newton Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient registration of patients, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow, pre-register patients for scheduled admissions and out-patient procedures.
• Verify patient information, distribute relevant information to ancillary nursing departments, and ensure patient valuables are secured.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to provide clear explanations and verbal reassurance.
• Maintain accurate records, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
