Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Boise, Idaho.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide exceptional patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room environment, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies, including ordering and stocking as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification required.
  • Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT) required.
