We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Physician Assistant to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain active medical licenses, with support from IWC for any additional licensing requirements.
- Engage in administrative tasks, fostering strong relationships with healthcare facilities and our medical providers.
- Provide coverage for nursing homes as needed, with travel expenses reimbursed by IWC.
- Work Monday through Friday, with no weekend hours or overnight calls.
- Receive comprehensive training under the guidance of our Medical Director to enhance wound care expertise, including diagnosis and treatment techniques.
- Serve as a consultant, rounding in nursing homes to provide specialized wound care services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant License.
- A minimum of three years of experience in wound care management.
- In-depth knowledge of wound care practices and standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
