Job Title: Shoreside Triangle Tankerman

Loadstar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shoreside Triangle Tankerman to join our team. As a key member of our marine operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of products to and from vessels.

Job Summary:

The Shoreside Triangle Tankerman will serve as the Person-In-Charge of the vessel, ensuring compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and company/customer requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of marine cargo handling, tank barge operations, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-transfer risk assessments and develop cargo transfer plans
  • Conduct pre-transfer inspections and ensure vessel mooring is secure
  • Communicate with Marine Logistics Coordinator and report any irregularities or unsafe conditions
  • Regularly evaluate and modify cargo flow as needed throughout the transfer
  • Disconnect and secure barge valves and openings to prepare for departure
Requirements:
  • 18 years or older
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Consistent work history with good references from past employers
  • Must hold current and valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC), U.S. Coast Guard Medical Card, Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC), and Driver's License
