POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the OmniChannel Client Service Coordinator involves overseeing the daily operations related to multichannel customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is tasked with managing the omnichannel order fulfillment processes for the retail sector. The Coordinator will also support both the physical and operational elements of the site and supply chain, while actively seeking improvements in efficiency and productivity.
Collaboration is crucial in this role, as the Coordinator must balance a customer-centric multichannel experience with a deep understanding of the James Perse brand and its impact on shared services and retail locations.
The Coordinator will facilitate communication across departments and serve as the primary contact for omnichannel fulfillment between retail locations, distribution centers, and financial departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Monitor omnichannel order processes to ensure proper fulfillment and shipping, including coordination with distribution centers and retail stores.
- Adjust order management strategies based on volume to maintain equitable distribution among stores.
- Act as a liaison between warehouse and retail locations to resolve fulfillment issues.
- Submit inventory adjustments to finance on behalf of retail locations.
- Analyze fulfillment results by location, including shipping data from our warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with receiving processes for inbound inventory, transfers, and returns.
- Manage daily relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely order dispatch.
- Oversee shipping supplies for direct-to-consumer fulfillment, ensuring optimal pricing and stock levels based on anticipated orders.
- Develop training materials for fulfillment tools and ensure accurate data transfer between ERP and WMS systems.
- Handle inbound customer service inquiries to support the global e-commerce operations, providing knowledgeable assistance regarding online orders and website usage.
- Respond promptly to customer emails and engage through live chat to offer product knowledge and recommendations.
- Drive sales through proactive engagement in exchange order and abandoned cart outreach initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in omnichannel operations.
- Proven project management skills; retail experience is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of direct and retail operations, practices, and processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and willingness to take initiative.
- Logical and analytical thinker with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Teamwork Retail POS, Shopify Plus, and ShipHero is preferred.
