  • Taking Orders and Serving Guests
    • Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Serves high-quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly, and attractive in appearance.
  • Preparing and Maintaining the Dining Area
    • Prepares the tables, lays out napkins and utensils, makes sure the condiments are refilled, and performs all other preparation tasks.
    • Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food-borne illness.
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
    • Consistently exceed Pollys standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above.
    • Must D.W.I.T. (Do Whatever It Takes) to enhance the guest experience, Make The Connection and always maintain a high level of commitment to service standards.
  • Maintaining a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
    • Restocks and clean service area, including but not limited to rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, cleaning work areas, etc.
  • Adhering to Company Policies and Procedures
    • Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash Handling Policy.
    • Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene.
  • Working Effectively with Team Members
    • Able to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow Team Members and Managers.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills
    • Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture.
  • Communication and Organization Skills
    • Effective communication, good organization skills.
  • Accuracy and Honesty
    • Accuracy and honesty in handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 1-2 years experience and/or training preferred.
    • Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county).
