Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a seasonal driver to join our team in Ortonville, MN for the Fall Harvest season. This role offers some overtime opportunities with Saturday work.

Key Details
  • Seasonal Position: Fall Harvest, starting mid-October
  • Location: Ortonville, MN
  • Schedule: Monday-Saturday day shifts
  • Local: All drivers are home daily
Responsibilities

As a seasonal driver, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. You will also provide excellent customer service, treat customers professionally, and promptly handle all customer concerns.

You will be required to maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment. Additionally, you will complete and document daily maintenance inspections, ensure proper equipment maintenance, and maintain and promote a strong safety culture.

You will also be responsible for reporting all incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to your supervisor immediately. You will be required to enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing program and the Continuous Monitoring Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Class B CDL or willing and able to obtain seasonal B commercial drivers license
  • Ability to operate manual 10-speed transmission
  • High School diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
  • Maintain or be able to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends to meet business demands
