Evening Facility Custodian

Overview
The primary objective of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the educational facility and its surroundings through a systematic cleaning regimen. This position ensures the safe operation of the premises and provides a hygienic environment conducive to the educational process.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of administrative offices.
- Ensure sanitation of various classrooms and training areas.
- Conduct regular cleaning of locker and weight rooms.
- Perform general custodial tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
- Lift and move items weighing between 25-50 pounds as necessary.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in custodial or maintenance roles.
Required Certifications
- Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- Sexual Misconduct Abuse Disclosure Release
- Training in Recognizing and Reporting Signs of Child Abuse
Skills and Abilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Problem-solving capabilities and knowledge of effective cleaning methods and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in technology for communication and management tasks.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete assigned duties efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
- Basic arithmetic skills for time management.
