Job Title: Travelling Anesthesiologist

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Travelling Anesthesiologist to join our team for a 26-week locum assignment in Torrington, CT. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $300-$325.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Assess patients, document medical histories, and address patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests and communicate results to patients.
  • Record Keeping: Keep patient records current by updating information and treatments.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up to date with advances in medicine and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Physician License: An active and unencumbered physician license in the state of employment.
  • Board Certification: Board certification or eligibility for certification in a specialty relevant to the role.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

  • Diagnostic and Clinical Decision-Making: Experienced in diagnostic and clinical decision-making.
  • Communication: Effectively communicates with others.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Working Hours:
  • Shift Schedule: 4, 10-Hour shifts from 07:30 to 17:30.
Education Requirements:
  • Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Residency Program: Completed residency program in your chosen specialty.
  • CME Activities: Continuing medical education (CME) activities to maintain medical licenses.
