Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Hawaii Gas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure their safe and proper operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and repair issues with vehicle electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Disassemble, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
Requirements:
  • At least six years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certifications in brakes, engine repair, and electrical-electronic systems.
  • Valid Class A CDL license with Hazardous Material endorsement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical schooling in automotive repair.
