Job OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled and driven individuals to join our team. As a key member of a multi-contractor group, the selected candidate will provide program, engineering, and technical support for military initiatives.
The role will involve managing various documentation processes, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Release Records (ERRs), Notice of Revisions (NORs), and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) related to the design, production, testing, and deployment of weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities- Review program-specific specifications, ensuring adherence to format, content, and compliance with established standards.
- Support configuration control processes, including the receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW).
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Change Control Boards (CCBs) and business management meetings.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create and manage ECPs, NORs, and ERRs.
- Conduct internal Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCAs/PCAs) on received and assembled items.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy, including drawings, specifications, and Parts Lists.
- Manage Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL) for Department of Defense contracts.
- Establish and document standard operating procedures for configuration management activities.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 3 years of configuration management experience within the Department of Defense environment.
Essential Skills and Knowledge- Proficiency in configuration management tools to facilitate effective management practices.
- Expertise in producing configuration management documentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards.
- Familiarity with software tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and present information effectively.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Candidates must possess and maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
