Clinical Nurse Coordinator Admissions Unit Leader

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the Admissions Unit. This dynamic leader is responsible for coordinating all functions in the unit, collaborating with the management team to drive quality improvement initiatives, and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in ongoing quality assessment and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing strategies to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, including interviewing, selecting, and training new hires.
- Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Support proper inventory control and supply management to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) diploma or degree.
