Gastroenterology Specialist

Job Summary
A board-certified gastroenterologist is needed to provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care at Integrity Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Create treatment plans, involving patients and family members in those plans.
- Initiate specialty referrals when necessary.
- Collaborate with management, physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and services.
- Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
- Perform procedures at the endoscopy center.
Hospital Call Rotation: 1 in 4
Education/Licensing Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
- Board certification or eligibility (for new graduates) in Gastroenterology.
- A valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
- A valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
Compensation & Benefits:
- A competitive base salary of $**250,000** per year, plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures.
- Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, sick time, and CME.
- Benefits include medical, vision, dental (including orthodontia), 401k with employer match, and CME allowance.
- H-1B Cap Exempt. Willing to sponsor Green Card applications.
