Job Summary

A board-certified gastroenterologist is needed to provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care at Integrity Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Create treatment plans, involving patients and family members in those plans.
  • Initiate specialty referrals when necessary.
  • Collaborate with management, physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and services.
  • Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
  • Perform procedures at the endoscopy center.

Hospital Call Rotation: 1 in 4

Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
  • Board certification or eligibility (for new graduates) in Gastroenterology.
  • A valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • A valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • A competitive base salary of $**250,000** per year, plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, sick time, and CME.
  • Benefits include medical, vision, dental (including orthodontia), 401k with employer match, and CME allowance.
  • H-1B Cap Exempt. Willing to sponsor Green Card applications.
