Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist at Corewell Health, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians and radiologists.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment competently to provide high-quality diagnostic studies that meet established protocols.
  • Document findings and images, including pathology noted during real-time scanning.
  • Assist physicians during invasive procedures as needed.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and stock rooms with supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and stair climbing.
Work Environment

This part-time position is located at Zeeland Hospital Felch - Zeeland and requires a commitment to working evening shifts, including call rotation on weekends.
