About the Role

This position requires a minimum of one year of clinical experience in dysphasia management and speech pathology. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing therapy programs to address communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities through diagnostic tests and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One year of clinical experience in dysphasia management and speech pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • BLS certification.
  • National Provider Identifier.
