About the Role

JB&B is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in New York. As an entry-level role, this position offers a wide range of project types, varying in size, duration, and complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to design and document electrical systems.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of electrical distribution, circuiting, and calculations.
  • Review shop drawings and perform site visits to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Lay out switchgear, generators, and panels, and perform basic calculations for electrical loads and voltage drop.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 0-1 years of MEP design engineering experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of design software tools, Revit and AutoCAD preferred.
