The Payson Unified School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our facilities team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our school facilities, as well as supervising and training other custodial staff.

• Supervise and train custodial staff to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance services
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least three years of experience in custodial or facilities management
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

The Lead Custodian will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and potentially hazardous materials. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
