Circulation Associate

Cook Memorial Public Library District is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our Circulation Department. As a Circulation Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our library services.

• Check materials in and out to library patrons
• Process payments and handle lost or damaged materials
• Register library cards and manage patron accounts
• Process reserved materials and maintain accurate records
• Greet patrons and provide excellent customer service

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and software
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move library materials
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

• $16 per hour
• 457 savings plan
• Paid leave and scheduled holiday pay
• Paid parental leave
• Premium pay on Sundays
