Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with high-risk patients, collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals, and provide expert care to women and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk pregnant women and their newborns
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor fetal heart rates, blood pressure, and other vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetrical procedures as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN license and certification in Labor and Delivery
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
