Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in our Inpatient Units, Emergency Department, or Surgical Services. As a Registered Nurse at Southwest Health System, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on your assigned unit.
In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure within the state of Colorado
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS (NRP for FBC) certification within 6 months of hire (12 months if a new graduate)
- Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (12 months if a new graduate)
- Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire (Med/surg only)
- Unit Specific requirements:
- ER: Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred
- ER: TNCC Course Completion within 12 months of hire
- FBC: Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire
As a Registered Nurse at Southwest Health System, you can expect a competitive salary range of $ 65,000 - 90,000 per year, depending on experience.
