Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at KGPCo. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and expediting process to meet the requirements of our business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Expediting: Enter new purchase orders for direct shipment to our customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Purchase Order Maintenance: Cancel, adjust, and resend purchase orders to suppliers as necessary, utilizing Navision.
  • CRM Activities: Respond to inquiries regarding purchase order status, resolve discrepancies, and create and assign activities as required.
  • Supply Chain Management: Utilize Microsoft Office, Access, Navision, CRM, and SRRS Report Server to manage the supply chain process.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as requested by the Procurement Supervisor.
Safety Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Safety Regulations: Comply with Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGPCo's Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
  • Participate in Safety Analysis: Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualification Requirements
  • Education: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years' work experience in Logistics, Marketing, or Sales.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to meet deadlines, effective communication and negotiation skills, detail-oriented, and sound decision-making skills.
