Estimated Salary

$17.50-$18.25 per hour, with opportunities for increases after 90 days. A $3,000.00 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions.

Job Description

The Senior Patient Transport Specialist plays a crucial role in safely transporting wheelchair patients to and from their destinations. This involves ensuring daily customer happiness, providing safe and efficient transport, and maintaining effective communication with patients, hospital and nursing home personnel, and the general public.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of city streets and traffic regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a valid State of Michigan Chauffeur license and a good driving record.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with the ability to pass Life EMS pre-employment requirements.
