Role Summary:We are looking for a proficient IT Systems Administrator with a solid background in technical support and expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position will focus on delivering technical assistance for end-user computing, managing hardware and software, maintaining AWS servers, and overseeing IT helpdesk operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical assistance to users regarding hardware, software, and application-related challenges.
- Administer and optimize AWS servers to ensure peak performance and security.
- Oversee IT helpdesk operations, addressing user inquiries and resolving IT-related concerns.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server issues within the AWS framework.
- Assist in the deployment and management of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain scripts for AWS management utilizing programming languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate new technologies and enhance existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding IT and data security.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support, addressing technical issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
- Demonstrated experience in an AWS environment.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming for AWS (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with IT helpdesk functions and user support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
- Experience with network configuration and security.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
