We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team at the Village Tavern in Reynolda Village, Winston-Salem.

About Us:

The Village Tavern is a renowned restaurant that prides itself on serving high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food according to recipes and ensure timely delivery to the dining area
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Comply with instructions from the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • Help wash dishes and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
