Position Overview:
Faulkner University is seeking a committed professional to become a part of the Faculty for the Speech Language Pathology Master's Degree program. The successful candidate will collaborate with fellow healthcare educators to guide and mentor students in a faith-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement course curricula that meet educational standards.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to students throughout their academic journey.
  • Supervise student research initiatives and projects.
  • Engage in departmental and university committees.
  • Assist with the admissions process for prospective students.
  • Support the overall mission of the program and the college.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in a relevant healthcare discipline, ideally in speech language pathology or communication sciences and disorders.
  • Preferred expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and neurogenic disorders.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology is required.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Alabama is necessary.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Active participation in the church of Christ is desirable.
