About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant, Project Manager Health & Safety to join our team at ERM. As a senior leader, you will play a key role in growing our business and delivering innovative safety and risk management solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and risk management programs for clients in high-hazard industries.
  • Manage complex projects and programs, including audits, safety studies, and program development.
  • Design and deliver behavior and performance outcome-focused approaches and programs for clients with complex safety performance issues.
  • Support incident investigations, development of corrective actions, and learning from incidents.
  • Coach leaders to create organizational capacity to deliver a step-change in safety performance.
  • Contribute to expanding ERM's Safety and Risk business, identifying and developing new opportunities, and preparing effective technical proposals.
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and technical personnel to achieve overall success of the technical and project management team.
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience working with organizations on safety and risk management, leadership/culture, and/or sustainable EHS programs.
  • Experience in field environments in high-hazard industries.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with guidance and direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to travel, both within the United States and to international locations in support of client programs.
  • BS or MS degree in Safety, Chem E, Mech E or similar discipline, or commensurate experience with a non-similar degree.
