Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, private duty nursing care to medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with G-tubes and seizure disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Maine.
  • Experience in private duty nursing or home health care.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
