Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sterilization procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized infection control area, adhering to strict standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and availability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operational efficiency and effective communication.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • No prior experience required, but a strong understanding of infection control principles and procedures is essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer skills and experience with inventory management software
  • One year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position, and the selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to medical equipment and supplies. The ability to lift dental instrumentation trays and work in a team environment is essential.
