Job Title: Itinerant Special Education Teacher

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified Itinerant Special Education Teacher to join our team at Lewis County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational services to students with special needs in a variety of settings.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide instruction and support to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including Peterson Central and Roanoke Elementary Schools
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
* Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students with special needs receive appropriate support and accommodations
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress

**Requirements:**

* Valid West Virginia Teaching Certification in Multi-categorical K-6, with Autism and Developmental Delay Endorsements
* Ability to work with students with a range of abilities and needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
