Location: Nashua, N.H.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Café Attendant reports directly to the Chef Manager and is tasked with supporting front-of-house operations. This includes serving and assisting customers during the checkout process, engaging in light food preparation such as grab-and-go items and salad bar maintenance, as well as stocking coolers while ensuring that the dining areas remain clean and organized. Additionally, the Café Attendant collaborates with the team to handle dishwashing, waste disposal, and other utility-related responsibilities. Teamwork is essential in this role.

This position requires exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the point of sale system and assist customers as needed
• Set up and replenish products, displays, coolers, and workstations
• Engage in light food preparation, including baking and preparing salad bar items
• Wash, peel, and cut various fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving
• Maintain and replenish the salad bar
• Transport supplies or equipment between storage and work areas
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand, along with waste removal
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and that the department is clean and presentable
• Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in food service or customer service, preferably in a corporate dining environment
• Dependability and strong customer service skills are essential
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
