Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver II to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers from our stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers from our stores using box and flat-bed trucks
  • Ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner
  • Work at Store #8505, located at 5605 Burnet Rd. Austin TX 78756
  • Interact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed medical examiner listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working as a delivery driver
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollys, conveyor belts, etc.)
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
