In this role, you will work as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Yale New Haven Health, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. You will cultivate a patient-centered environment, focusing on the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and functional needs of patients, families, and significant others.
Responsibilities:- Clinical Care
- Implement accurate and safe anesthetic care for patients.
- Professional Skill
- Understand physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, constantly monitoring vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
- Information Management
- Ensure appropriate documentation within hospital and regulatory requirements and protect information from unauthorized access modification, destruction, or intentional or accidental disclosure.

- Demonstrate high standards of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
- Professional Development
- Continuously engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
You must have a completion of certified nurse anesthetist training program, graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs, and current state of Connecticut nursing license and APRN licensure in the state of Connecticut. Additionally, 1-2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line is preferred but not required.
Your salary will be $110,000 - $140,000 per year based on your experience and qualifications.
