Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Conway Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality service.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a difference in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in Out Patient Testing, demonstrating proficiency in their skills and exhibiting professionalism at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and their family members with exemplary customer service.
  • Perform procedures such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with personal needs.
  • Plan, provide, supervise, and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Utilize professional nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers, assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
  • Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unit as assigned.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with co-workers, nursing colleagues, physicians, and department heads.
  • Effectively utilize strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Consistently display effective verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding and use of technology/PC skills required.
  • Exercise independent judgment in emergency situations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Associate degree (ADN) in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree (BSN) in Nursing preferred.
  • Prior experience working in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Two (2) years Out Patient Testing experience preferred.
  • Current South Carolina or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse (SCLLR) in good standing required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
