Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Evans East Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient history and vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including hematology, serology, and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Administer anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Provide comprehensive client education, addressing their concerns and questions in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements:
  • Active state license as a Registered Veterinary Technician or current student in an accredited Veterinary Technology program.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
