Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Technologist to perform mammography tests and develop high-quality breast images for radiologists. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform mammography tests and develop high-quality breast images for radiologists
- Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed
- Assist physicians in special procedures as needed
- Process quality control checks on systems in accordance with American College of Radiology
- Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff
- Participate in departmental performance improvement programs
- At least 2 years of mammography experience
- ARRT (M) certification required
- MRT certificate required
- Travel experience strongly encouraged
- Screening and diagnostic testing and assisting with biopsies & needle localization
