Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Technologist to perform mammography tests and develop high-quality breast images for radiologists. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography tests and develop high-quality breast images for radiologists
  • Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed
  • Assist physicians in special procedures as needed
  • Process quality control checks on systems in accordance with American College of Radiology
  • Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement programs
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of mammography experience
  • ARRT (M) certification required
  • MRT certificate required
  • Travel experience strongly encouraged
  • Screening and diagnostic testing and assisting with biopsies & needle localization
