Join US Oncology, Inc., a leading provider in cancer care, as we seek a dedicated Full-Time Nurse Clinician. This role is vital in our mission to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
At US Oncology, we believe that caring for cancer patients is not just a job; it is a profound calling. Each member of our team has a unique journey that has led them to this important work, often rooted in themes of empathy, dedication, and service.
Regardless of the position, our collective goal remains the same: to ensure the highest quality of care for every patient we serve. Whether you are a nurse providing comfort or a coordinator facilitating appointments, our commitment to our patients is unwavering.
In this role, you will operate under general supervision, delivering professional nursing care that aligns with national standards and specific company protocols. You will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the physiological, psychological, and developmental differences among our diverse patient population, which includes late adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess and manage the needs of patients and their families. Adherence to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care with both internal teams and external partners.
- Assist medical assistant staff with necessary paperwork related to disability and FMLA.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay is determined by various factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
- We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, paid time off, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and critical illness and accident insurance.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience is essential.
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Please note that this position may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other conditions typical of an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
The physical demands of this role necessitate a full range of motion, including manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for the operation of complex laboratory equipment.
All qualified candidates must successfully complete a background check and a non-federal drug test (excluding marijuana) following a job offer and prior to employment.
We welcome applications for this position on an ongoing basis.
