Job Description

At Earth Friendly Products, we strive to create a more eco-friendly future through sustainable practices and products. We're seeking a dedicated Sustainability Specialist to join our team in implementing and monitoring our sustainability policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science or sustainability and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Key responsibilities include maintaining recycling records, tracking waste data, and collaborating with our recycling technicians to ensure a diversion rate of over 95%. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with our production team to ensure adherence to sustainability procedures and develop internal communication to reinforce our sustainability programs.

Key Job Functions:

  • Maintaining accurate records of recycling activities and preparing periodic reports.
  • Tracking and analyzing waste-related data to inform sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborating with recycling technicians to ensure efficient waste management practices.
  • Working closely with the production team to ensure adherence to sustainability procedures.
  • Developing internal communication to reinforce sustainability programs and policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or sustainability-related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
