Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
- One to three years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse RN.
- Current licensure and certification in the state of practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and move equipment as needed.
